Author & Publisher
Sharon Higgins
Sharon Higgins writes across genres, guided by a continuing interest in how people discover who they are, find their voice, and shape the world around them. Her twelve published books span reflective nonfiction, faith, artificial intelligence, business and community economics, fiction, and stories for young readers.
Her writing explores questions that connect everyday life with larger possibilities: What does it mean to become more fully ourselves? How do we preserve imagination and independent thought? What responsibilities come with knowledge, opportunity, and technological change?
Sharon brings more than 25 years of experience in community and economic development, small business consulting, and public procurement. Her work alongside entrepreneurs and underserved communities informs her attention to human potential, practical opportunity, and the systems that help people thrive.
As founder of Inner Flames Publishing, she brings these interests together in a literary home for stories and ideas that encourage curiosity, reflection, and discovery. She also writes The Human Question, a newsletter exploring education, culture, technology, and human responsibility.
Across her books and essays, Sharon invites readers to look more closely, ask their own questions, and remain open to what they might yet become.
